SINOPSIS

​

Desde arriba, desde las montañas de los andes que circundan la capital del llano, Villavicencio, se divisa la enorme llanura que como un mar verde, se pierde en el horizonte lejano. Allá a más de 1000 kilómetros de distancia, hacia el sur del continente, está también la altillanura, de parques naturales inexplorados, ríos caudalosos y la amazonia, la selva impenetrable y pulmón del mundo. Llegamos a esta tierra en pleno festival del joropo y nos impactó esta música de arpa, cuatro y capacho que, narra la historia
de jinetes, caballos, ganado y atardeceres que incendian el llano y que los bailadores traducen en un zapateo criollo, que nos recuerda la proveniencia de los bailes
andaluces.

 THE LLANOS: THE KINGDOM OF JOROPO

From above the Andes mountains that surround the capital of the plain, Villavicencio, you can see a huge plain that like a green sea, is lost in the distant horizon. More than 1000 kilometers away, towards the south of the continent, there is also the high plain, of unexplored natural parks, mighty rivers and the Amazon, the impenetrable jungle and lung of the world. We came to this land in the middle of the Joropo festival and we were struck by this harp music, four and a doormat that tells the story of riders, horses, cattle and sunsets that burn the plain and its dancers translate in a Creole shoe, which reminds us the origin of the Andalusian dances.
