SINOPSIS

​

​Antes de la batalla del puente de Boyacá, que sello para siempre nuestra independencia de la corona española en 1819, se dieron una serie de conflictos, hostilidades y confrontaciones armadas, entre indígenas, criollos y españoles, por el reclamo que hacían nuestros aborígenes para no ser despojados de sus tierras y costumbres, o por el elevado pago de impuestos. Fue esta la revuelta más publicitada en nuestra historia: " La rebelión de los Comuneros" en tierras de Santander y Boyacá. Recorrimos  pueblos y ciudades de estos departamentos, que conjugan una cultura mestiza y orgullosa de su historia libertaria, del presente impactante por las bellezas naturales y culturales que ofrecen para conocer.

 

THE ROUTE OF FREEDOM

Before the Battle of the Boyacá Bridge, which forever sealed our independence from the Spanish crown in 1819, there was a series of conflicts, hostilities and armed confrontations between Indians, Creoles and Spaniards, for the claim that our aborigines did not wanted to be stripped of their lands and customs, or  to pay high taxes. This was the most publicized revolt in our history: "The rebellion of the Comuneros" in the lands of Santander and Boyacá we toured towns and cities of these departments, to know both the mestizo culture and the libertarian history, also there are shocking natural and cultural beauties to know.
